Welcome to the UCA Working Group site
UCA Working Groups (UCAWG) are teams of industry professionals advancing global standards that drive interoperability, reliability, and innovation in the power system. Open to qualified members, they collaboratively draft and review formal documentation that supports a more efficient, future-ready grid.

Various activities meet with various cadences:
- Biweekly (virtual): Subcommittees on use-case data modeling or testing & certification
- Monthly (virtual): General Working Group updates
- Ad-hoc (virtual): Marketing subcommittee for Working Group meetings globally
- Annually (in-person): Working Group Meeting
UCA Working Groups are comprised of a diverse mix of energy industry stakeholders including electric utilities, hardware and software vendors, research labs, federal government, and consultants.
